Structure And Installation

Drive-In & Drive-Through Racks

The lift truck puts the pallets on support rails. In a Drive-in system, the truck loads and unloads through one side of the system. So the first one in will be the last one to retrieve.

In the case of Drive-through racking system, the truck is able to enter pallet through both ends of the system which allows for a first in-first out inventory style. These are ideal for storing plenty of identical materials having more shelf life.

Push Back Pallet System

This type of pallet racking is made up of beams and carts, but the rails are inclined. The forklift loads the pallet from the front of the system into the cart through these rails. Consequently, the next one in front will push it back to the previously available cart. After unloading the first one, the next one glides into its spot due to inclination.

Carton Flow Rack

Carton flow rack is also known as gravity racking. The beam is upright and rollers which are in an inclination. This allows the cartons from the loading end to glide down to the picking area. After removing the first one, the carton behind flows to this spot. These types are used in case of foods and beverages because the first to go in come out first.

Advantages Of Pallet Racking

The opening advantage of pallet racking is that it is a great space saver. The extensive inspection will ensure safety and it is easy to handle. There is provision for accessibility on both ends and either side. Also, pallet racking is convenient and durable.
